What you need to know

The GM2020 security system installed into the vehicle is designed to detect when the vehicle is left in an insecure state and will immobilise if the  vehicle is not secured in a timely manner.

When the vehicle is stopped at a delivery point the engine must be stopped and the key removed, the door must be locked to secure the vehicle.

Best practice would be to follow the 10 second rule– wear your keychain, remove the key from the vehicle and lock the vehicle within 10 seconds:

Fitting the device

HH Driveright and our nominated engineers appreciate the time you are giving to enable the fitting of the device to your vehicle; however, recent incidents have prompted us to issue this important request for your assistance.

Our engineers will always try to complete the installation as quickly as possible and get you back on the road at the earliest opportunity.

They will explain the process to you before commencing the installation, but we do kindly request the following:

  • Do not interrupt the engineers – they will try and complete your install as quickly and as safely as possible
  • Please refrain from using any offensive or threatening language towards the engineers – this will result in them stopping the install and handing the vehicle back to you without it being completed and a charge being made to your DSP for their time!
  • We welcome your feedback but please direct any complaints or observations you may have directly to your OSM and/or DSP owner – they will pass your comment back to the HH Driveright Service Centre
  • Please also remember to maintain COVID precautions and social distancing at all times

At the end of the installation you will be handed a “What Happens Next” notice.  This will explain the process and what you need to do so please read this carefully.
